These are my two of my girls both rescues. Trixie (front) I received from a breeder who told me she wasn’t going to breed anymore.. hmmm, I doubt that. Along with her I received to males, her son and mate. I transferred the boys to Dog Bless Rescue Partners in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. There they were able to find a home to take both of them and keep them together since they were bonded!! I am forevermore grateful to them. Katie, (back) was my first Shih Tzu foster, and my first failure!! She is a dear sweet thing, but unlike my other Shih Tzus, she is an introvert, except of course when I come home and she goes crazy!!

It’s the cutest thing… checkout her latest pic from FitDog Friday. Sometimes I can be working on the floor, and I feel a little paw on my back, and there she is in her little stance balancing with a paw on my back!!

I agree… I think of all the paths that my life could have lead me to, then I wonder about them. I am so glad things have lead me this way… I love my littles.

They are… but when I first saw pics of Trixie, I wasn’t going to keep her. Then she did her little Meerkat stance and I was hooked. And with Katie, well she just needed someone to take care of her with her allergy problems. I am a sucker for a special needs dog!!!
