Black & White Sunday: In The Mirror

Don’t you just love Sundays! I love them, but they also mean I have to get my butt in gear from a lazy Saturday, with homework and photography assignments due on Monday. Today I am sharing a little photo shoot Katie and I had a couple of weeks ago.Though I don’t do it a lot, I love setting up funny little scenarios with the girls and shooting them. This picture, though it is digital, will be developed in a regular darkroom this week as part of my final portfolio for one of my photography classes.
Katie is such a little trooper, I often refer to her as my little model. She has the best expressions sometimes and can fit into any size medium dresses I get for her… my slim little shih tzu!

      Yup film is still available…but I shoot strictly digital. It’s a different process on the front end, as there isn’t any film for me to develop, so I create a ‘digital negative’ with the use of a special overhead transparency called Pictorico, then using that negative I head into the darkroom and process as a normal. 🙂

    Don’t you love dogs that are patient with modeling? I put Mr. N up a tree yesterday for the sake of a photo and he was just like I’ll stand here until you’re done. Onyxx would have tried to jump down which is why we don’t do those shots with him.
