So yesterday Riley and I, along with my friend Shana headed over to Monterey with our college photography department to check out the Monterey Museum of Art’s photography exhibition. I can say it was a truly breathtaking exhibit with beautiful photographs by Ansel Adams and Yousuf Karsh. And though the day started off beautiful and sunny, it quickly changed to rainy. Luckily for Riley, I had her raincoat with me!

Such a stylish coat! I wish my Bug would wear one as her fur is so thin she gets very wet very quickly in the rain – but she hates them 🙁

I was so happy I took her jacket… I didn’t take mine and got very wet since we were at the end of the pier when it started raining and it was almost a 5 minute walk back to the car!! lol live and learn 🙂

That sounds like a great exhibit to get to see, very inspiring I’m sure! I love Riley’s raincoat….did you buy that locally, or online? I’m looking for some for my dogs and haven’t been able to find the ones I want online.

I actually bought it locally and of all places HOMEGOODS!!! I so love that store as I can find the coolest doggie things for cheap!

Thanks so much… even though I am in school for photography, I am always playing with my camera and it’s focus system… sometimes good sometimes not so much… but I am developing a great relationship to it. And believe it or not, Riley is starting to love dressing up 🙂

I think you would love Monterey and Carmel… so many shops and galleries! I just wish I had not forgot her little Pawz rainboots. Her feet got so wet 🙁

Perfect way to set the tone for black and white sunday by getting a bit of inspiration from Ansel Adams, are dogs allowed in at exhibitions where you live? I’m sure we can’t bring Donna to such indoor venues, even is she is perfect for an indoor dog. Boo. ;P

It was a great way to get inspired…. I find that going to photo galleries can be a great kick in the butt!! No dogs are not allowed in the galleries, but under that raincoat is Riley’s service dog vest. She never leaves my side if I leave my house… she enables me to do sooo much 🙂
