I recently got my dog back after many years. It’s been nice cuddling on the couch watching tv together, spoiling him with delicious healthy treats (no corn and all of that junk), and taking him out on long walks.
We love to go running in the park
We love to go hiking with our little Pixel. He loves to run thru the woods!
I like to jump in the pool, roll around in the sand & then jump on my mom and give myself a nice shake. She definitely loves it too, I think.

Oh, the river! Paws down! We love the river in summer! But we also life to go cap in cooler country with the pups, had up to Seattle for time on the boat, and when we can’t leave, have a stay-cation where I can be in cool air conditioning and still get work done. Not as fun but more productive. Great giveaway!!!

Walking, hiking, swimming…being outdoors for sure is a favorite activity! In ALL seasons. Except maybe winter. Ew cold winter…

Dinsdale and my favorite thing to do during summer is to sunbath in the grass together!
The Florida weather is also very hot so Roxy’s (Yorkie) favorite thing is to lie on the floor and chill out. Shadow (Schnauzer mix) on the other hand will chase lizards outside until he falls over so we have to watch him. They are both in their teens so we can’t do much walking in the summer, we save that for winter!
Going for a hike and a picnic in Joaquín Miller or Redwood Regional Park. We’d like to try camping though. (or maybe glamping!)

We have a lot of plans this summer but the heat will probably keep us from doing some of the plans….gotta watch the concrete and the paws….we will spend some time in the backyard and fill up the Jozi pool so she can wade through the cool water when the temps get too high to do any walking out in the world!

My “fave” thing might seem a bit odd because my pets are birds…I love to play with my African grey parrots in the outdoor aviary I set up for them so they can get some great natural UV light and fresh air. I put ice cubes in wide water bowls so they can splash and bathe and play. It’s really fun for all of us!

Well, My shih tzu Owl likes to go the park and chase squirrels. But she doesn’t like very warm weather. So I will say that her favorite thing to do in the summer is sleep in a cool place.
ohh… how true, my girls can’t stand the heat either…. they love the air conditioning… we have vents on the floor, so sleeping next to the vents on the tile is very cooling for them 🙂
Going to the park together! And playing in the pool in the backyard on the really hot days. 🙂
We love to go swimming anywhere we can – a friend’s pool, a lake or stream.. anywhere we can cool it down with our three dogs!

I love to take my dog for walks right before it gets really dark in the summer. It’s still nice and warm but no bright sun heating up his fur or burning me 🙂
