Did you know that obesity in dogs is on the rise? As with humans, being over weight increases a dogs chances of having other illness such as diabetes, heart disease, and skin problems just to name a few. Personally I am guilty of being overweight, and I am also guilty of letting my little Shih Tzu Trixie become overweight. Well enough is enough. After going through the death of a beloved pet (not due to obesity) recently, I can not sit back and watch my little girl gain more weight and jeopardize her health. Join me as we take this journey together to become fit and healthy.
